Catheter Ablation

This minimally invasive procedure is used to correct certain types of heart arrhythmias by changing an incorrect electrical pathway in the heart. It involves passing specially designed catheters through a main leg vein or a vein close to the clavicle bone into the heart. This procedure is usually performed under local anesthesia and mild sedation. These procedures are considered  standard treatment in Poland.
