Hand surgery is the field of medicine that deals with problems of the hand, wrist and forearm. Hand surgery combines many factors of  general, orthopedic and plastic surgery and deals with pathologies involving the hand and upper extremity. Common problems are the carpal tunnel syndrome, rheumatoid arthritis and also reconstruction of fractures. Hand surgery suits well  to medical tourism, because the patient is usually back and active with only minor disability the day after.
